Video games were in black and white, but looked a thousand times more realistic? Would you mind the grey scale style of a game if it meant that shadows played perfectly across surfaces, and people looked like real people? Would that be a trade players would be willing to make? From colorful and fake to grey scale and real?

I now know why the textures aren't working.
Luxrender doesn’t like .tif files.
All the ponies are skinned with .tif files.
So Luxrender gets the ponies just fine from Blender, but has no ability to display the textures.
Luckily this is not the end of the world, I can still use the ponies in something else… theoretically. I’ll get back to you guys on that one.

GAH!!!
Luxrender isn’t working well with Blender. That is to say, rendering the scene produces absolute nothing but a black screen, which clearly means it isn’t working. I believe the world is lit, but even if it isn’t a path tracing program should not finish an image in 1 second… should it?

When something is on YouTube and i want to download it, I usually use the Firefox add-on Video Download Helper to pull it straight from a YouTube page. Legal? Not really, but neither is that archive site you were using.

I would start a draw blog...

Internet Explorer is horrible. Even the x64 version is horrible.
